Changing or cancelling your place

Can I cancel after I book?

If you booked as a consumer at a distance, by phone or online, you normally have 14 days to change your mind.

›More on this
The right comes from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and applies to a contract made without meeting in person. Someone booking for their trade or business is not a consumer and does not get it. If the course starts inside those 14 days at your request, you keep the right to cancel but pay for what has already been delivered. Our own terms set out how to tell us, and what happens if you cancel later than that or do not attend.

What if the course runs on a fixed date?

Ask before you book. Some date specific services sit outside the cancellation right, and the position for training is not settled.

›More on this
The regulations exempt certain contracts that provide for a specific date or period of performance. Whether a scheduled course falls inside that exemption is not settled, so our terms set out exactly what happens if you cancel.
