Lithuania: Consular Certificate on Criminal Records
You need this if you have lived in Lithuania for six continuous months or more in the last ten years.
Who can apply
Lithuanian nationals, and non nationals holding a Lithuanian residence permit with a personal identity number. Other non nationals must apply in person in Lithuania.
Where
By contacting the Ministry of the Interior IT and Communications Department, or through the Lithuanian embassy in London in person, by proxy or by post.
What to supply
- Completed application form with your contact details and the reason for the request
- Passport or identity card, notarised copy if applying by post
- Payment and a prepaid self addressed envelope for postal applications
Translation
Certificates are issued in Lithuanian and need an approved translation.
Watch out
Processing takes around three to four weeks, so do not leave it until the course is booked.
