The first aid day
Assessing a casualty, CPR and using a defibrillator, choking, bleeding, shock and minor injuries. Assessed on the day, certificate valid for three years.
Worth knowing first
Do I need a first aid certificate before the door supervisor course?
Yes. You need a first aid qualification with at least 12 months left to run before you can take the training.

The SIA requires it before door supervisor training and before the refresher. Emergency First Aid at Work, or an equivalent, is accepted, and our one day course provides it. You show us the certificate when you register, not the SIA.
